Ever wondered how it would be like to have the perfect job, in the perfect place such as New York, Paris or London? Determination can get you anywhere. After sending CVs, anxiously waiting for replies and wishing to get positive answers, the position you’ve applied for will have your name on it. What’s next on the list? Being able to find the outfits and work dresses which are both classy and personalised.  Although it may at first seem tricky, this task can easily be achieved.

Starting with the basics is probably the best way to go.  A grey or navy suit will always remind people of the office look.  In order to make those clothes say something about you rather than about the place you work at, being creative and experimenting with different textures and colors is a winning combination. Women’s work wear can quickly twist from ordinary to dull. That is exactly what we want to avoid.  Bringing something new to the outfits is likely to refresh the appearance and the feel of the clothing items.  Factors such as colors, textures, shapes and patterns are women’s best friends when it comes to creating that perfect look.

Let’s begin with colours shall we? Having a wide variety to choose from, combining them with style is the key to success. Always try to avoid using more than three colours when looking to put an outfit together. Instead of choosing a large color palette, why not try to focus on one main item, on one of your brightly coloured summer dresses for example or one of your stylish vintage dresses, to which you can add accessories such as a belt or bag. They can either bring contrast to the overall appearance or blend in with the outfit. However, splashes of color don’t necessarily have to be bold they can also be smaller subtler items such as watches, bracelets or shoes.

Texture, shape and pattern go hand in hand when it comes to creating that spot on look.  A clean cut navy blue pencil skirt teamed up with a classy top and a white blazer sounds like perfection.  Add a touch of red to the equation by means of the shoes and bag. What’s the final result going to look like? Work wear for women who know how to combine different items and accessories in order to be both classy and stylish.
